Falcon Crest (CBS TV, 1981-90) 1983 Chardonnay Label

From the vineyards of the Tuscany Valley, where the wine was fine and the scheming was finer.

This is an original production-made 1983 Chardonnay wine label from Falcon Crest (CBS, 1981–90), the primetime soap set among the warring wine dynasties of California's fictional Tuscany Valley. Custom printed for the production by The Earl Hays Press, this label is the kind of prop detail that dressed the bottles, cellars, and dining tables of one of the most glamorous series of the 1980s.

This is not a reproduction. This is a genuine production-made prop, pulled directly from the Earl Hays Press archive.

Did you know? Falcon Crest ran for nine seasons on CBS from 1981 to 1990 and was one of the defining primetime soaps of the decade alongside Dallas and Dynasty. Set in the wine country of Northern California, the show was partly filmed on location at the Spring Mountain Vineyard in Napa Valley, which became so associated with the series that it was informally known as the "Falcon Crest winery" for years afterward. The Earl Hays Press produced the Falcon Crest wine labels and other printed props throughout the entire run.
