Dante's Peak (1997) Pioneer Days Festival Bumper Sticker

A souvenir from a town that didn't make it.

This is an original production-made Pioneer Days Festival bumper sticker from Dante's Peak (Universal Pictures, 1997), the volcanic disaster thriller set in the fictional Pacific Northwest town of Dante's Peak. The kind of small-town prop detail that gave the doomed community its identity before the mountain had other ideas. Custom printed for the production by The Earl Hays Press.

This is not a reproduction. This is a genuine production-made prop, pulled directly from the Earl Hays Press archive.

Did you know? Dante's Peak was released in February 1997 and was one of two major volcano disaster films that year, the other being Volcano, in a rare instance of simultaneous competing productions on the same subject. Dante's Peak was praised for its relatively grounded scientific approach to volcanic activity, with the production consulting volcanologists during filming. It grossed over $178 million worldwide against a $116 million budget. The Earl Hays Press produced the Pioneer Days Festival bumper sticker and other printed props that gave the fictional town of Dante's Peak its small-town Pacific Northwest character.
