Did you know? 3rd Rock from the Sun ran for six seasons on NBC from 1996 to 2001, earning 8 Emmy Awards including Outstanding Comedy Series. John Lithgow won three consecutive Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Dick Solomon, one of the most dominant individual runs in Emmy history for a comedy performance. The show was created by Bonnie and Terry Turner, and was praised for its sharp, high-concept writing that used the alien-observer premise to skewer everyday human behavior. The Earl Hays Press produced the Pendelton State University ID badges and other printed props throughout the entire run.
